Born in 1999, Hero is a half-Welsh chestnut with lots of chrome. As a sire, he passes down a kind temperament, huge stride, an elegant yet robust body, athleticism, and most importantly, a sound mind. Hero comes inherited longevity from his dam, who lived well into her 30s. His fertility is still top notch. He has a high sperm count (200-450 million per ml) and good motility (~70%).
