ABOUT
Cheryl Patton co-founded Clovercroft Welsh Ponies in 1989, re-branding as Clovermeade Welsh Ponies in 2004. She has been recognized as the USEF Pony Hunter Breeder of the Year eight times: in 2008, 2015, and 2019-2024. In 2021, her daughters Elizabeth and Ginny moved back to the area and began working with her.
With some spectacular young mares from Gayfield's Welsh Ponies and Rollingwood's Welsh Ponies and the addition of our foundation stallion, Cloe Olympian by Findelyn Blue Danube, our family developed a passion for breeding performance ponies who's athleticism is matched with a kind temperament.
